🏡 Vaastu Pooja — वास्तु पुरुष की शांति एवं गृह ऊर्जा का संतुलन
Vastu Shastra — the ancient Indian science of architecture — teaches the art of balancing energies between a home, its land, and the people who live within it. Vastu Purusha is the divine being who resides in every building and plot of land; when he is pleased and at peace, the home becomes a vessel of sukh, samriddhi, swasthya and parivarik sauhard. According to the Puranas, 45 devas reside within the Vastu Purusha Mandal — Brahma at the Brahma Sthana (center), Shiva at the Ishan (NE) corner, Kubera in the North (wealth) and Indra in the East (energy and leadership). The Vastu Pooja worships all nine directions and their presiding deities, performs Shodashopachara Pooja of Vastu Purusha, Vishwakarma Pujan, Navgraha Shanti, a sacred Vastu Hom, and closes with a Griha Pradakshina and Navdhanya Daan in all nine directions — calling abundance and divine protection into every corner of the home.

📿 Step-by-Step Vidhi
Purify every room, corner and doorway with Gangajal and tulsi patte — removing all negative energies before the pooja begins.
Invoke Vighnaharta Ganesha to bless the ceremony and clear all obstacles before Vastu Purusha is worshipped.
Offer prayers to Vishwakarma — the divine architect and patron deity of the home's construction and structure.
9 kalash are established in the 9 directions of the home; the main kalash receives Varuna Deva's invocation for prosperity.
Yajman holds jal and pushp and takes the solemn sankalp for Vastu Shanti — stating name, gotra and purpose of the pooja.
Worship of the five principal deities — Ganesha, Vishnu, Shiva, Durga and Surya — for complete divine protection of the home.
Invocation and peace-offering to all nine planetary energies to ensure no graha dosha afflicts the home or its inhabitants.
Facing each of the 9 directions, the priest invokes the disha-devata — Indra, Agni, Yama, Nirrti, Varuna, Vayu, Kubera, Ishana and Brahma at the center.
Complete 16-upachar worship of Vastu Purusha — the divine guardian of every home — with panchamrit, pushp, dhoop, deep and naivedya.
Vastu Hom with nav-samidhaa in the sacred fire — the family makes ahutis at each Svaha, sealing divine blessings into the home.
The entire family performs 3 pradakshinas of the home — entering each room and offering namaskar to its direction's guardian deity.
Vastu Purusha aarti — the whole family gathers with the aarti thaal to offer light, singing Jai Jai Vastu Deva in gratitude.
Nine grains are scattered across all 9 directions of the home — an ancient Vedic ritual calling abundance and samriddhi into every corner.
